Google has been ordered to pay a staggering 2.4 billion pounds (about Rs 26,172 crore) fine for abusing its market dominance with its shopping comparison service, a report has said. The landmark ruling comes after a 15-year legal battle initiated by a UK couple, Shivaun and Adam Raff, whose price comparison website, Foundem, was unfairly penalised by Google’s search algorithm.
