Tariff hikes lead to fall in users in August for top telcos

New Delhi: India’s top three telecom operators Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) suffered major customer losses for the second month in a row in August, triggered by a sharp increase in headline tariffs in early July, data from the telecom regulator showed.
