Centre to launch AI-powered chatbot to handle public grievances soon

With lakhs of public grievances lodged on its centralised portal every year, the Union government is likely to launch an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot to help users lodge complaints or appeals, The Indian Express has learnt.

The chatbot will soon be launched on the existing Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) run by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), it is learnt. The portal allows users to lodge grievances with any Union or state government ministry or department.
