Jio subscriber losses, high costs weigh on Q2 numbers

Kolkata: Reliance Jio’s higher-than-expected near 11 million customer losses despite unchanged tariffs for the feature phone users was “a key negative” in the telco’s Q2FY25 results, stifling earnings before interest, tax, depreciation & amortisation (Ebitda) growth, while higher costs weighed on margins, said analysts.
