2 ‘Policy Bazaar agents’ arrested from Delhi, 10 women executives detained for running fake call centre in Delhi
The Delhi Police on Sunday arrested two men who allegedly ran a fake call centre of insurance broker firm Policy Bazaar.com near Dwarka Mor Metro Station and duped people in the name of car insurance agents. They also detained 10 young women executives who were allegedly hired by the accused to run the scam, and confiscated 18 mobile phones, officials said.
The accused – Nihal Khan,27, and Deepu, 22, both residents of Qutub Vihar – used Work India app and other online portal to hire girls, who they would use as call centre employees, said Raja Banthia, Deputy Commissioner of Police, North.
