Why you should be careful of emails from ‘Microsoft employees’

Scammers are using Microsoft’s credibility to defraud people, a report has said. They commonly pose as employees or affiliated vendors of Microsoft – one of the most frequently impersonated brands – deceiving email recipients.
Check Point Research has claimed that security researchers have caught over 5,000 emails masquerading as Microsoft notifications – suggesting that this trend is accelerating.
