A Bengaluru engineer’s Google job offer has gone viral on social media. Kartik Jolapara, who works as a developer at US-based multinational finance company JP Morgan, came upon the LinkedIn profile of an individual with ten years of experience and was intrigued by the offer and posted it on the social media platform X (earlier Twitter) with the caption “crazy offers.” Since uploading, the post has gone viral and has sparked multiple reactions, as the LinkedIn profile showed that the candidate in question graduated from a tier 3 college and does not hold a computer science degree.
