Google increases YouTube Shorts’ time limit, here’s how long they will be

YouTube Shorts will soon support longer videos. YouTube’s short format video section that competes with TikTok and Instagram Reels currently supports 60-second or 1-minute-long videos. The company has now announced that it will allow creators to upload videos up to three minutes in length starting October 15. In a blog post, the company noted that this was the most requested feature by creators and will even offer them more flexibility to tell their stories.
