Google for India 2024: Gemini Live now available in Hindi and 8 other Indian languages

On Thursday, at the Google for India 2024 event, Hema Budaraju, the product lead of Google’s search team, announced that Gemini Live, a conversational AI feature, now supports nine additional Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu.

At first, Gemini Live was limited to Gemini Advanced users, but it was recently rolled out for free to Android and iOS users in 10 different voices.
