Bitcoin case: Karnataka HC dismisses anticipatory bail plea of cop Sridhar Pujar in destruction of evidence case

The Karnataka High Court has dismissed a petition seeking anticipatory bail filed by a police officer in a case involving the destruction of evidence in the alleged Bitcoin scam. The order was passed on September 23 by Justice M G Uma.

Shridhar Pujar, a deputy superintendent rank officer, is under investigation along with another police officer in the Bitcoin scam case involving the hacker Srikrishna alias Sriki. Pujar is also accused in an attempt to murder case when he allegedly tried to strike an officer with his car while avoiding arrest.
