Elon Musk-owned brain chip startup Neuralink recently got FDA approval for its experimental vision implant – Blindsight. Taking to microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), Musk wrote “The Blindsight device from Neuralink will enable even those who have lost both eyes and their optic nerve to see.” Replying to his post, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra said “If this device lives up to these expectations then, much more than Tesla or SpaceX, THIS will be your most enduring gift to humankind.”
