WhatsApp testing Instagram-inspired themes for chats: Here’s how they would look like

WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging platform with more than a billion users in India is working on new chat themes. The upcoming feature will not only let you customise chat windows, but also includes a bunch of preset themes that you can use to alter the look of your conversation.

Spotted by WABetaInfo, the publication that keeps a tab on upcoming WhatsApp features, the custom chat themes are currently available on WhatsApp v2.24.20.12 beta for Android. According to Android Authority, who managed to activate some of these themes, said that there are a bunch of colour presets to choose from, but only some could be activated.
