Mumbai railway official loses Rs 9 lakh as he dials ‘0’ from his phone; presented before ‘judge’

A railway official in Mumbai fell victim to cyber fraud after he received a voice message on his phone. The fraudsters, posing as CBI officers, accused him of being involved in a money laundering case and eventually produced him before a ‘judge’ via a video call. The victim has lost Rs 9 lakh and as per PTI, has also filed a complaint at the Colaba police station.
