Brazil bans X: This app backed by former Twitter CEO sees million downloads in three days

Elon Musk’ X (formerly Twitter) was banned in Brazil on August 31. Three days since the app and Bluesky, a decentralised social media platform, is gaining popularity in the country. So much so that it has seen one million downloads in the past three days.
According to a report by Techcrunch, Bluesky has become the top free app on the iPhone app chart in Brazil. The company confirmed the downloads via a post on X.
