Google and Tamil Nadu Government collaborate to build an AI-enabled ecosystem

Google has collaborated with the Government of Tamil Nadu to set up Tamil Nadu AI Labs. This collaboration will focus on areas such as AI start-up enablement, skill development, and enabling the industrial ecosystem, including MSMEs, to create scalable AI solutions.

Under the newly-inked MoU, Google will work with Guidance, Tamil Nadu’s nodal agency for investment promotion, facilitation, and support of development of a robust AI ecosystem. These efforts also include providing access to advanced technologies and resources aimed at empowering individuals, businesses and government entities to use AI for inclusive growth.
