Why these Apple wireless chargers may get banned in one of the biggest iPhone markets

Chinese regulators are reportedly planning to ban the sale of certain types of wireless chargers, including some Apple models. According to a report by South China Morning Post, this new regulation, which will come into effect starting September 1, will recognise only three frequency bands (100-148.5kHz, 6765-6795kHz, and 13553-13567kHz) for mobile and portable wireless charging equipment in the country and will impose an 80W cap on rated transmission power.
