Governments should take balanced approach in regulating AI: Broadcom’s Chris Wolf

LAS VEGAS: Any move to regulate artificial intelligence (AI) should strike a balance so that it could not impact innovation, with the governments having a responsibility to protect consumer data privacy, a top Broadcom AI executive said.

“In the tech industry, we just want to make sure that there’s a balance, because you don’t want to slow down progress of innovation at the same time,” Chris Wolf, Global Head of AI and Advanced Services, Broadcom told ETTelecom.
