A bite of Apple brings 9X gains to Tata Electronics’ revenue muscle
Kolkata: Tata Electronics’ sales surged more than ninefold year-on-year in the previous fiscal, as its contract manufacturing business-in only the first full year of operations-was bolstered by the acquisition of Wistron’s iPhone assembly plant near Bengaluru.
Tata Electronics posted total consolidated income of Rs 3,802 crore in FY24, up from Rs 401 crore in 2022-23, showed the company’s filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) last week. Tata Electronics is the only homegrown iPhone assembler in India.
