Starting September 1, telecom companies banned from sharing messages with these links

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has instructed telecom companies to ban sharing messages containing URLs, APKs, OTT links, or call back numbers which are not whitelisted by the sender. In a press statement, the telecom regulator said “Effective from 1st September 2024, all Access Service Providers will be prohibited from transmitting messages containing URLs, APKs, OTT links, or call back numbers which are not whitelisted by the Senders.”
