Google releases important security update for Chrome: Here’s how to update

Google has released a major security update to its Chrome browser. The update brings fix for two major security flaws classified as high severity. One such vulnerability is CVE-2024-6990 – a memory vulnerability in the browser’s web graphics. The vulnerability could be exploited by a hacker to destabilize the victim’s PC and execute rogue code. Another flaw is related to Dawn vulnerability, addressing “insufficient data validation.”
