NPCI disconnects C-Edge Tech from retail payments after alleged ransomware attack

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has disconnected all forms of retail payment services offered by C-Edge Technologies after the company allegedly came under a ransomware attack two days ago.

The Mumbai-based technology company primarily offers payment services to regional rural banks and cooperative banks. C-Edge is a joint venture between software major TCS and the State Bank of India.
