Amazon faces new tax evasion probe in Italy

Amazon is being investigated by MIlan prosecutors for suspected tax evasion, reports Reuters. Quoting sources aware of the matter, the report says that the inquiry focuses on tax rules over the trading of goods within Italy’s borders and internationally, with particular reference to value added taxes and custom duties. However, the size of the potential tax evasion amount has not been quantified yet.
