Elon Musk says Tesla board to discuss $5 billion xAI investment

Elon Musk said Tesla Inc.’s board will discuss whether the electric-vehicle maker should invest $5 billion into his artificial intelligence startup, xAI.

Earlier this week, Musk asked X users in a poll whether they agreed a deal was a good idea. After more than two-thirds of respondents voted affirmatively, the CEO said Thursday it looks like “the public is in favor” and that the EV maker would consider the matter.
