As state-owned BSNL readies itself for the launch of 4G services, the government has set a subscriber market share target of 25%, which the company needs to meet by the end of 2025.
The loss-making firm has so far been allocated a total of Rs 3.2 trillion as part of three revival packages. The company has been losing subscribers for the last 2.5 years in the absence of 4G services.
