Update your Telegram now: Hackers using security flaw to send harmful files through chats

A critical security flaw has been discovered in the Telegram app for Android, putting users at risk from malicious files disguised as videos. Cybersecurity researchers at ESET identified the zero-day exploit, dubbed “EvilVideo,” which could allow hackers to compromise user devices.
This exploit targets older versions of Telegram, specifically those before version 10.14.5.
