Centre aims to notify all Telecom Act 2023 rules within 6 months: Scindia

NEW DELHI: Communications minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Thursday said that the government would notify all the existing rules of the Indian Telecommunications Act 2023 within the next 180 days.

“We had a promulgation and a notification of the new Indian Telecom Act. New robust and modern act has been brought forth, and notified late last month, and we commit to you that within next 180 days which is our deadline, we’ll have each and every rule notified,” telecom minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, adding that such a move would boost industry’s confidence.
