Vodafone Idea shares jump nearly 6% as SC agrees to consider plea on AGR dues

Shares of debt-ridden Vodafone Idea jumped 6% in Tuesday’s early trade to the day’s high of Rs 17.66 after the Chief Justice of India agreed to consider its plea pertaining to AGR dues.

Vodafone Idea, on July 15, sought an urgent listing of its curative petition against the Supreme Court’s 2019 judgment on the payments to the government.
