Indkal Technologies inks licensing pact with Acer to design, produce smartphones

Consumer electronics startup Indkal Technologies on Wednesday said it has entered into a trademark licensing agreement to design, manufacture, and distribute smartphones for Taiwanese hardware major Acer Inc.

The Bengaluru-based firm will launch a variety of smartphone models under the Acer brand in mid-2024. It will also handle distribution of the smartphones through ecommerce and offline channels.
