Game Boy camera gets new life as retro webcam

The iconic Game Boy Camera, a 26-year-old Nintendo accessory, is poised for a comeback as a quirky webcam option for modern computers. Epilogue, a video game technology company, has announced that its GB Operator device will soon support using the Game Boy Camera as a functional webcam.
The GB Operator, a $50 USB dock released in 2021, already allows users to play Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance cartridges on PCs and Steam Decks.
