AI is bringing back Hollywood voices from the past, but with consent

Artificial Intelligence (AI) unicorn ElevenLabs, which develops models and tools to recreate voices in different languages, accents and emotions, said it is bringing back the voices of deceased Hollywood legends Judy Garland, James Dean and Burt Reynolds among others, CNN reported.

ElevenLabs’ new app called ‘Reader’ takes articles, PDF files, newsletters or any other text online on your phone and converts it into voice-overs. And now these will be in the voices of movie stars.
