OpenAI’s ChatGPT performs better than real students in university exams, study claims

OpenAI’s ChatGPT has outperformed real students in university exams and even went undetected by markers. A limited study done by researchers at the University of Reading, UK (published first on Plos One), created 33 fictitious students and used the artificial intelligence (AI) tool ChatGPT to generate answers for undergraduate psychology module exams.
