Microsoft is reportedly shutting down its underwater data centre effort, Project Natick. This subsea project had been inactive for several years but continued to be mentioned by the media and other companies as an ongoing initiative. According to a report by Datacenter Dynamics (DCD), the US-based tech giant has now confirmed that the project has come to an end.
