Reliance Jio has a bunch of data-only prepaid plans in its portfolio offerings. These data add-on packs are different from its data booster plans in that they don’t need you to have an active plan in order to use them. These add-ons are “standalone” plans you can buy irrespective of whether you have a plan already in use or not.

Since they’re “data-only”, it is obvious that they do not have any voice or even SMS benefits. But many people, today, have grown accustomed to calling through WhatsApp and so, that should hardly come as a deterrent.
