Google Play Store may soon automatically launch newly installed apps

When you install an app from the Google Play Store, you get the option to either open or uninstall the app. But that might soon change, as Google is reportedly testing a new feature that will automatically launch the app as soon as it is installed on the device.

According to a new report by Android Authority, which performed an APK teardown of Google Play Store v41.4.19, the new feature dubbed ‘App Auto Open’ sends users a notification that appears as a “banner across the top of the screen” when activated.
