Jio gets green signal to launch Starlink like satellite internet service in India, report says

Reliance Jio is set to bring its satellite internet service in India. According to recent reports, Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, has been given the green light by Indian regulatory authorities to launch a satellite internet service similar to Starlink.

According to a Reuters report, Jio Platforms in collaboration with Luxembourg’s SES has secured regulatory clearance from India’s space authority to operate satellites within the country.
