Unacademy’s Hemesh Singh joins other founders who donned non-executive roles

Hemesh Singh, cofounder of edtech firm Unacademy, on Saturday stepped down as the chief technology officer after nearly nine years with the company, moving to an advisory role. This is the latest of multiple top-deck changes in startups over the 12-15 months — as the broader tech and startup ecosystem undergoes a churn in the hunt for profitability and strong corporate governance.
