US federal regulators — Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission — have reportedly agreed to investigate the dominance of Microsoft, OpenAI, and Nvidia in the AI industry. After a similar deal in 2019, both agencies have previously investigated major tech companies like Google, Apple, Amazon, and Meta for anti-competitive practices.
