Google has released a policy working paper titled “Generative AI and Privacy,” underscoring the importance of building AI responsibly to harness its full potential. As AI’s capabilities expand from everyday tasks like number crunching to extraordinary feats such as curing diseases, Google emphasises the necessity of embedding user safety and privacy protections into AI products from the start.
