U.S. company Dell debuted a powerful line of computers on Monday using Qualcomm’s chips, promising performance gains as PC vendors look to push Windows on Arm much more aggressively in an attempt to better compete with Apple. While Qualcomm chips have powered laptops previously, this could be the first time PC companies like Dell have the option to use a powerful chip in computers not made by Intel or AMD. The new computers are called “Copilot Plus PCs” as they come with built-in AI hardware and support for AI features across the Windows operating system.
