Does the new iPad Pro bend? Early tests ‘praise’ Apple’s improved structural integrity

Apple’s latest iPad Pro has hit the shelves, and tech pros are already putting it through rigorous tests on YouTube. Both JerryRigEverything and AppleTrack have conducted bend tests, and the consensus seems to be positive: the new iPad Pro is remarkably sturdy and resistant to bending, even under extreme pressure.

It’s remarkable—and a major relief for Apple—because this new iPad Pro is the thinnest product that it has ever made. It’s thinner than even the iPad Nano. The 13-inch model is only 5.1mm thin. The 11-inch model just 5.3mm. The 11-inch version weighs only 444g (Wi-Fi) while the 13-inch version is just 579g.
