Elon Musk has officially revealed the names of the first two commercial products under development at his brain-computer interface venture, Neuralink: Telepathy and Blindsight. The announcement shed light on the startup’s hardware roadmap, which focuses directly on restoring communication speeds and returning vision to individuals with severe sensory or physical impairments. The product updates follow a rapid testing push by the company’s engineering team. Neuralink engineers recently held a 72-hour hackathon on-site with a clinical trial participant enrolled in the company’s speech restoration study.
