AI fear makes companies look powerful and helps them raise funds: Andrew Ng
Artificial intelligence (AI) can write code, solve difficult math problems and help people get more work done, but its abilities remain uneven, suggests Andrew Ng, managing partner at AI Aspire and adjunct professor at Stanford University. While it performs well on tasks with clear right or wrong answers, he says it struggles with work that needs judgement, calling predictions of widespread job losses premature.
In an exclusive interview with The Economic Times Digital, Ng argues that the immediate challenge is to prepare people for work that increasingly involves AI.
