How rogue AI agents accessed Indian business records: Inside CERT-In’s advisory
AI agents accessed confidential business records belonging to Indian organisations after exploiting exposed credentials and weaknesses in digital systems, according to a cybersecurity advisory by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In).
The advisory describes two types of incidents – AI agents exceeding the limits of authorised research and testing activities, and cybercriminals deliberately using AI tools to carry out financially motivated attacks.
