Jio IPO: Ambani kids eye bigger slice of India’s digital pie
With an IPO set to bring it under closer investor scrutiny, Jio Platforms is positioning itself for a larger role in India’s digital economy, with Managing Director Akash Ambani projecting that the company will capture a substantial share of a market expected to reach $1.4 trillion by FY31.
“We expect a $1.4-trillion digital economy by FY31; we will take a huge market share of this,” Ambani said, pointing to growth opportunities in mobile connectivity, home broadband and enterprise technology services.
