Jio to widen tech offerings beyond telecom with AI, network software

A decade after entering India’s telecom market, Jio is broadening its technology strategy beyond mobile connectivity, with investments in network software, patents, artificial intelligence, enterprise platforms and technologies aimed at global markets.

Akash Ambani, managing director of Jio Platforms, has said Jio is “much more than a telecom company”, highlighting its work across connectivity, digital products, enterprise solutions and AI.
