Jio to offer connectivity benefits worth ₹1,499 on JioBharat 4G device
NEW DELHI: Reliance Jio on Wednesday said it will offer six months of connectivity benefits worth ₹1,499 with its 4G-enabled JioBharat feature phone.
The move will effectively bring down the cost of upgrading from a 2G device to a 4G feature phone to just ₹299.
Jio’s offer comes as, for 2G users, staying connected typically requires monthly recharges of around ₹199, resulting in an expenditure of nearly ₹1,200 over six months on connectivity alone, preventing them from accessing quality digital services.
