IBM, Yotta generally launch sovereign AI platform for Indian firms
IBM and Yotta Data Services have announced the general availability of their Sovereign Agentic AI Platform for Indian organisations. This platform integrates IBM’s enterprise AI technology with Yotta’s sovereign AI cloud and platform capabilities, enabling organisations to deploy AI agents at scale while maintaining data, operations, and governance controls within India.
Built using IBM watsonx Orchestrate and deployed on Yotta’s Shakti Cloud, the platform offers an integrated foundation for deploying, running, and governing enterprise AI agents. IBM watsonx Orchestrate serves as the agentic control plane for secure management of AI agents, while Shakti Cloud provides the necessary compute, GPU infrastructure, networking, security, and operational capabilities for enterprise AI workloads.
Additionally, Yotta’s Shakti Studio, an AI platform for model development and inference, allows organisations to explore, fine-tune, deploy, and run both open-source and proprietary AI models. The platform is accessible through Yotta’s Panvel and Greater Noida cloud regions and supports various workflows, including security operations, document processing, and HR automation.
