AdiVaani: Technology for the margins

India is home to over 700 tribal communities and more than 100 distinct tribal languages and dialects, yet only a handful have a script, a dictionary or any presence online. For a Gondi-speaking farmer trying to read a Government health advisory or a Santhali student searching for a word in a textbook, the digital world has, until now, simply not spoken their language. AdiVaani is changing that through one sentence, one recording, one translated page at a time.
