Schneider Electric sees India as crucial manufacturing location, eyes AI data centers: Sumati Sahgal

NEW DELHI: Schneider Electric sees India as a critical manufacturing location, and expects its global partnerships with hardware makers to accelerate data center rack build-outs in the local market, said a senior executive of the French multinational.

“We are looking at India as a critical location for manufacturing, for serving domestic and global needs,” Sumati Sahgal, vice president (secure power and data centres – Greater India Zone), Schneider Electric, told ETDatacenters in an interview.
