Palantir Technologies CEO Alex Karp questioned whether OpenAI and other frontier AI companies can eventually go public, citing the potentially large legal liabilities associated with advanced AI systems. Asked what the risk factors in an S-1 filing could look like, Karp questioned whether such a filing would happen at all. “This is the thing. You’re assuming that there will be an S-1. Now I don’t — okay, maybe there will be,” Karp said in a CNBC interview.
